Neon Architecture designed this eco self-build in West Berkshire for homeowners Maddy and her partner - a contemporary family home built from scratch on the site of a tired bungalow, with sustainability at its core. From an asymmetric roofline to solar panels, battery storage and an air source heat pump, every decision was made with long-term energy performance in mind. We visited the completed home in early 2026 to hear the full story of how it came together.
